Paçalin Zef Pavaci joins the AYO violin artist-faculty with highest recommendations from Maestro Loren Maazel, who writes: “I am impressed by his talent as a violinist and as concertmaster. Mr. Pavaci has appeared as Guest Concertmaster of Philharmonia Orchestra in London, Gran Teatre Liceu de Barcelona, Spanish National Orchestra in Madrid, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orquesta de Castilla y Leon, Orchestra Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and more.

 

From 1999 to 2006 he was guest professor at Showa University in Tokyo, and from 2006 to 2015 he was Concertmaster of Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari (Italy). In July 2016 and 2017 he was concertmaster at Festival della Valle d'Itria, invited by Fabio Luisi. He has performed with Maazel, Prêtre, Galway, Plasson, Luisi, Cobos, Tate, Ashkenazy, and Runnicles. He is currently concertmaster of Real Orquesta Sinfonica de Sevilla, Spain. This is his 2nd summer with AYO.
