Contributions from individuals and foundations are an important resource for the Asian Youth Orchestra.

 

Scholarships

 

Support for Scholarships make it possible for the Asian Youth Orchestra to continue as a tuition-free program open to all musicians regardless of nationality or background.

Scholarships in the amount of US$2,800 each, may be given to support any orchestra member, or maybe designated to support musicians from specific countries or playing specific instruments.

Foundation Grants

 

Grants from foundations support all our programs, including concerts, master classes with world-renowned musicians and education programs that reach thousands of children and adults each year.

 

Grants can be given for general operating support or can be designated for support of a particular program or project, including but not limited to:

 

• Specific Concerts in Hong Kong or on Tour

• AYO’s annual China Tour

• AYO’s Annual Japan Tour

• AYO’s program for disadvantaged and special needs children

• AYO’s student ticket program in Hong Kong

• AYO’s Instrument purchase program

• AYO’s endowment
